Flame-retardant ABS has certain flame retardant effects. The amount of different types of flame retardants used will also result in different flame retardant levels of flame-retardant ABS. According to the UL-94 flame retardant level, it can be divided into HB, V-2, V-1, V-0, 5VB, 5VA, etc. The combustion characteristics of flame-retardant ABS are similar to those of general ABS. After the combustion test, flame-retardant ABS is light yellow and smokes, has a sweet smell of rubber, and will harden and blacken. V-0 flame-retardant ABS will also automatically ignite 10 seconds after ignition.
